Alaska Rx Card Presents Donation To The Children’s Hospital at Providence
Alaska Rx Card recently visited Children’s Hospital at Providence for a check presentation with Marian Giannulis, Children’s Miracle Network program director for Providence(right side) and Jennifer Gonzales, Program Director of Alaska Rx Card (left side) both featured in the photo. Alaska Rx Card also partnered with Coy Bowles of Zac Brown Band to donate signed copies of his book, When You’re Feeling Ill to the children at Providence. Providence Alaska Medical Center has been designated as a Pediatric Level II Trauma Center, the first hospital in the state recognized for comprehensive trauma care for children. Over $1,000 has been raised for the most immediate needs at the local CMN hospital.
Alaska Rx Card is honored to partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Children’s Hospital at Providence. Each time a prescription in processed through the Alaska Rx Card, Children’s Hospital at Providence will receive a donation. When you support CMN you are helping children in Alaska have access to quality health care regardless of the families ability to pay.
Since 2015, the United Networks of America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised over $2.4 million dollars for local children’s hospitals. Of this, over $1,000 has been raised for Children’s Hospital at Providence.
